Every once in a while, I feel compelled to draw a little NiGHTs: Into Dreams fanart. I have to say this game has become one of my favorite Sega games; even right up there with Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Open Canvas drawing, messing with coloring techniques. Think I found a nice trick or two in here. The outlines are a little sloppy but, yeh, whatever. I can't draw clouds worth a damn, sorry.

Wanna know whats FREAKY? The moon actually looks like that right now. Its HUGE in the sky too! Scary... and Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh To the lil acid dream that this game represents! And AHHHH to his bell bottoms!!!!!!!!!!!!! xD That lil guy has to be saten. Just HAS to!

Never heard about the game (well I didn't play at the time Sega existed) but it looks interesting. I love the starry sky, the moon, the cloud...yes, the cloud is not that bad. Quite good actually. :) I like the pose, as well as your coloring. Somehow reminds me of the FFX-2 battle costume change animation to Thief. I dunno if you've played that or not, though. Anyways. Great job, I like it a lot!

I was a big fan of FFx, but never the sequel. NiGHTs, by now, is a hard game to find and play. Have to find a working Sega Saturn and the game itself, and that takes some dedication.

Or lots of money to burn and an eBay account.

Yeah, I don't like the sequel either that much. The story is much more interesting but playing it is a hell. Stupid missions...
I don't think I manage to get my hands on that NiGHTs, shame though. :/ But there's a lot more interesting games I will never play, so I guess I'll have to live with that.

Ha, yeah, I was gonna comment anyway 'cause it's... NiGHTS! Anyway.
Wow, love the background... and the pose, too! Your coloring style definitely worked, and on top of that you've got beautiful color choice. The bend in his back is perfect, specifically about the pose. His sleeves look awesome, too, now that I think about it. Negative? The more-shadowed part of his face looks a little "dirty," and... well, the upper hand is still sketchy, but that's fine. In any case, the positives WAY outweigh the negatives... and to that end, since there's something "staaare" about this, you've earned a gold star. :+fav:

Yeah, I got way lazy on that hand. -_o; I kept drawing it, over and over, and just gave up.

May have to do a Christmas NiGHTs pic shortly, as its my own personal holiday tradition. :D

I dont know if its your style or not.. but Danime has a cloud tutorial. I havent looked at it yet. ^__^ I like this I dont know the game you are talking about but I still like this but then I do have a strange facination with the moon
